ALEX

ALEX is a educational web site "funded by the Alabama department of education (http://alex.state.al.us/showpage.php?lnk=welcome). ALEX stands for Alabama Learning Exchange. It provides lesson planes for teachers and students using a file and sharing system. Similar to that of the popular site youtube.com, files are stored on the site and you have access to them.

ALEX can be used by educators to share lesson plans or by students to view them and can be accessed from any Internet connected computer. They also offer distance learning which eliminates the classroom. There are several courses of study from arts education to technology education. A search engine is provided on the sight for easy access to what your looking for. ALEX is an extremely useful site, that will educate students and help teachers grow.
